Adolescence is a critical stage where the focus shifts from academics to life skills, independence, and future readiness. At Aster Center, our pre-vocational and vocational training programs are designed to support neurodivergent adolescents aged 14 years and above in preparing for adulthood with dignity and confidence.
These programs emphasize functional independence, work readiness, communication, and community participation. Through real-life task training and hands-on experiences, adolescents learn practical skills such as following routines, completing tasks, managing responsibilities, and interacting appropriately in work-like settings.
Exposure to different vocational domains allows adolescents to explore interests and abilities in a safe, supportive environment. Confidence-building activities help them develop self-esteem, decision-making skills, and a sense of purpose.
Our goal is not just employment, but meaningful participation in society. With the right guidance, structure, and encouragement, neurodivergent adolescents can lead fulfilling, independent lives aligned with their strengths.
